The Ak-Sar-Ben Amateur Radio Club (AKSARBEN ARC / W0EQU) serves as a cornerstone of amateur radio activity in Omaha, Douglas County, and Sarpy County, Nebraska.
Founded decades ago, the club maintains an active network of VHF and UHF repeaters providing wide-area voice coverage across the Omaha metropolitan area and surrounding communities. AKSARBEN ARC regular events include monthly club meetings, technical presentations, license training sessions, and annual participation in ARRL Field Day.
Members actively support public service communications for community events such as marathons, parades, and local emergency management exercises. The club welcomes all licensed operators and newcomers interested in exploring amateur radio in Eastern Nebraska.
