Growing the amateur radio community in Nebraska is powered by dedicated Volunteer Examiner (VE) teams and Elmer mentorship programs across the state.
ARRL-sponsored VE teams host monthly license examination sessions in Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney, North Platte, and Scottsbluff, helping candidates earn Technician, General, and Amateur Extra licenses.
Clubs also sponsor youth STEM workshops, introducing students to radio technology, satellite communications, soldering, and antenna construction, inspiring the next generation of Nebraska radio amateurs.
